Abstract: In the view of theological aesthetics, divine beauty is rooted in and driven by the divine love (agape). So, the emotional experiences and life fulfillment on which theological researches are based is in the transcendental realm and must be a concern of aesthetics research. From the perspective of experience, this paper focuses on love and beauty which is the analogy between theological belief and aesthetic emotion. Balthasar communicated the beauty of Son and Father ontologically with the notion of being and established his aesthetics on the cultural tradition. The essence of beauty could only be meditated in love and the key point is belief. To Balthasar, the infinite God is the wholly-other to the finite human and the revelation of love could eliminate the gap between the object and subject of love, so the glory of the Lord is the self-revelation of God.
